Taking a Person First Approach in Your Organization - 5-part series
Nonprofits and small businesses combined employ an estimated 67.5% of the workforce. People are drawn to these organizations for their connections and impact within the community; they can see the difference they are creating. While many people seek impactful employment, it is up to leaders to create an environment where individuals feel engaged, are invested in their work, and see future opportunities. By investing in people, organizations can increase their future success. Individuals are often considered an intangible asset that doesn’t typically appear on an organization’s balance sheet, but staff and volunteers significantly impact an organization's brand, community impact, and financial success.
In this series, participants will explore various topics related to creating a person-first approach in your organization. You will gain understanding, recognize where there is opportunity for growth, and identify tools and resources, all while empowering you to move your organization forward.
