By the end of the workshop, you will know 21 communication tips to use when getting your message across, as well as the importance of preparing, executing, and evaluating each time you speak professionally.
Workshop #2 - Communicating Like a Savvy Leader (Thursday, April 14, 9:00 - 10:30 AM, The Blake Annex, 1 Steuben Place, Albany, NY)
The single most costly mistake for nonprofits is…being forgettable! So, what’s the solution, you ask? Being memorable…when we communicate! By the end of the workshop, you will know 10 specific communication strategies to use immediately as a leader, as well as guidance on formal, informal, and impromptu speaking demands.
You’ll also have an opportunity to apply your communication skills by delivering up to a 2-minute speaking sample. You can request feedback from workshop members to increase your learning.
