2022 Program Directors

Pam Skripak, MPH, Executive Director of the Institute of Nonprofit Leadership and Community Development at the University of Albany, has directed the Emerging Nonprofit Leadership Accelerator (ENLA) since 2018. Pam has spent her career in the field of experiential education, leadership development, human and organizational capacity-building, and program design and development in the nonprofit sector. She developed NEXT Consulting, a campus-based consulting firm for nonprofits at Siena College; designed an experiential workforce development program and global internship for Migrate in Amman, Jordan; and designed an innovative social and emotional development program at Emma Willard School. As director of education at Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood, Pam developed and facilitated programming for youth, parents, and professionals throughout the region and served as a member of the senior leadership team. Pam currently serves on the board of the YWCA-Greater Capital Region. She is passionate about building meaningful connections, social justice, a sustainable and bio-diverse Earth, and the arts. Pam is a trained facilitator of circle practice. She received a Bachelor of Arts in English and Women’s Studies from Hamilton College and a Master of Public Health in population, maternal and child health from Columbia University. Pam served as a youth educator in Peace Corps Ecuador.

Daquetta P. Jones, MSHSA, is the former Deputy Commissioner for Administration with New York State (NYS) Department of Civil Service (DCS). Daquetta is an experienced, charismatic, and visionary leader, philanthropist, community advocate, activist, motivational speaker, mentor, connector, and leadership & nonprofit advisor. She possesses over 20 years of human services and community engagement experience serving runaway and homeless youth, youth in foster care, victims/survivors of domestic violence, homeless women and families, individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, individuals living with HIV/AIDS; and community outreach, and civil service. She is a change agent and activist for Black Liberation, Human Rights, Womxn’s Rights, and Social and Racial Justice and Equity. Daquetta served for over 5 years as the first Black Executive Director for the YWCA of the Greater Capital Region, Inc. in Troy, New York. Daquetta currently serves on the Capital Region TU Women at Work Executive Board, The Hyde Collection Board, The College of Saint Rose Women’s Leadership Institute, Justice Center of Rensselaer County and Berkshire Farm Center Community Impact Committee. Jones has received a plethora of accolades: Albany Business Review (ABR) Women Who Means Business, ABR 40 Under 40 Award, The Sage Colleges Outstanding Young Alumni of the Year, The Sage Colleges Distinguished Alumni Award, Citizen Action of New York – Capital District Chapter’s Jim Perry Progressive Leadership Awards, The Center for Women in Government and Civil Society – Change Maker, Capital Region Chamber of Commerce Women of Excellence – Business Development, Capital District YMCA Adult Achiever Award, YWCA-GCR Resourceful Woman of the Year and several others.
Jones graduated in 2011 from The Sage Colleges Graduate School of Management. She also possesses a BS in Crime and Justice Policy from The Sage Colleges of Albany and an AAS in Human Services from Hudson Valley Community College. In May 2021, Jones received her Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business.
