Do you have expertise to share? Nonprofit University is seeking highly-qualified instructors from within and outside the greater Capital Region to facilitate professional development workshops in all areas of nonprofit management and operations. Nonprofit and business consultants, practitioners with significant experience, and scholars working in related fields are all encouraged to apply!
Founded in December 2019 to serve the needs of the greater Capital Region's nonprofits, "Nonprofit U" seeks to become a state-wide training center for nonprofit professionals with a reputation for engaging and content-rich programming. We are delighted to say that since its inception in December 2019, we have provided well over 100 workshops and 9 half day seminars, garnering an average rating of 4.7 out of 5, with 4 being "very good" and 5 being "excellent." Workshops in our 2021/2022 season will be offered both live and online.

The more specific, granular, and hands-on you can make your workshop for your audience, the better! You will be able to indicate if your intended audience members are entry-level, mid/manager-level, executive-level, or board level personnel.
Workshops may be eligible for MSW continuing education credits. Multiple-part series are eligible for certificates of completion and micro-credentialing.
To apply to become a Contributing Faculty to Nonprofit U, please complete this form. You will be asked for contact information, a brief bio and resume, and references or evaluations from previous workshops. Once you have completed the bio section, you will be able to return to the form to propose workshops at any time. The workshop registration section will ask for the workshop title and program description including 3 - 5 clearly stated intended learning outcomes. The form enables you to propose up to six workshops at a time.
Workshops are generally scheduled for weekday mornings, but you are welcome to propose any potential dates and times. Workshops are currently being held via Zoom. We will provide the Zoom platform and all technical support necessary.
